Having achieved the highest award, the Manchester New Square project showcases the brand’s elegant and contemporary styling.

A striking addition in the heart of Manchester, the award-wining array of luxury new build canal-side apartments sit perfectly amongst period properties, delivering an architectural statement.

Creating a luxurious and timeless interior inspired by skies and natural light as requested by the client, Milc also focused on aspirational living that reflected the cosmopolitan area of Manchester. The design concentrates on the very best of modern living with an open plan living space to entertain, work and relax.

The colour palette moves effortlessly throughout the apartment from the entrance through to the bathroom spaces. The design has multiple focal points to encourage users to explore different perspectives within the spaces. This is showcased with an eye-catching blue velvet chair and coordinating pastel coloured scatter cushions, with a bespoke curved sofa that maximises the layout. Bronze and brass finishes throughout the reception area add a touch of subtle luxury, whilst the design features locally sourced accessories that pay homage to the Manchester bee.

The contemporary aesthetic was carried through to the bedroom spaces which created a calming feel for users, perfect for escaping from the busy city. Uniquely designed headboards and furniture were sourced from the UK with the design focusing on the best of British.

Helping the potential homeowner to visualise living in the apartment, subtly positioned accessories, fresh foliage and pampas grasses provided a homely feel.
